This countryside residence, which was built in an expanse of fields and existing trees, needed to be grounded within its surroundings. Full, lush planting is used along the perimeter, complemented by mature trees and hedging.
There are several interconnected seating zones in the design, positioned according to the sun. The main raised beds give definition to the space. Three canopy trees offer cover to the spaces. The well-structured space is block planted with grasses and mixed perennials, including salvia and lavender. Connecting paths and pebbles add to the sensory experience of the space. Smooth porcelain tile on the main patio furthers the overall clean, polished look of the design.
