This urban garden is made to feel much larger than it is with two mirroring patio spaces that are interjected with a lawn. The stepping stones create a sense of elongation, carrying the vision line down the garden, this is furthered by the long linear raised beds on either side of the design.
The top patio provides the perfect setting for a morning coffee. Further down the garden, where more of the evening sun is enjoyed is a lounge area. Angular steelwork frames the home owner’s view of the garden from within the space and creates interest pulling the eye down the garden, creating an illusion of more space from the opposite side.
Lush planting ensures as much greenery as possible is packed into this space. This ensures that there will be seasonal interest throughout the year.
